When we sell your produce, we take advice from industry experts to ensure we get the best price. This is not always easy in these volatile markets, but we usually sell a bit at a time trying to get a good average. When we sell some of your grain we are also selling some of ours. So, the average price you get at the end of the year is the same as we get for our own grain.
The grain trailers are all equipped with weighing scales, so we know exactly what comes off each field. This information is passed to the land owner after harvest so they can see how their fields are performing. It also allows us to see if a field is not performing and we can take action to improve it. We invest time in reflecting and evaluating our practices to ensure we are doing the best job possible for all parties involved.
